Queenie S. - Malaysia, November 2014 : Gili Amor is close to the jetty. However it is behind in the 2nd lane - not the main road/ facing the seat. But located near the main stripe so it was convenient to go around - restaurants and etc. Welcome with a welcome drink and explaination of Gili Trawangan by Helmi then escorted to our room. Rented a bicycle to go around from the hotel for rp. 50 000 for 24 hours.
Diana J. - Australia, August, 2014 :I wouldn't call it a resort & it's still under construction so the place has some issues. Pool was often dirty, rooms are very small, bed consisted of a sheet, bathroom had a large/wide open gap to outside so Mosquitos were everywhere, shower was filthy with cold water in the mornings and the staff struggled to communicate. I think it's only fair the cost is less until the place is completely finished

Lucy H. - New Zealand, August, 2014 : Myself and two friends stayed in one room upstairs with a balcony. We had a great stay - the rooms are all new and fresh and very clean. There were a few issues with the power going off for a few hours each night, apparently a standard Gili trait! The manager was an absolute gem, helping us book a boat to Lombok and many tips for the island were given. The breakfast was good, a la carte and extremely slow tho. Im sure these issues we had were just teething problems as its still very new.

Good hot water and air con, however the safety deposit box is more like a costume jewellery box which you could pick up and walk off with. Wifi not strong in the rooms.
Andrew B. - New Zealand, June , 2014 : The stay was good, value for money was ok @ $70pn but any higher I would feel is overpriced. The staff are great, nice pool, location is good but the hotel is still being built so abit messy but no noise. The neighbouring burn offs are worse. Definitely one of the better hotels in Gili T. For the money I would expect daily servicing which did not happen. The staff are always friendly. Free wifi also. I would stay here again and also highly recommend Scalywaggs restaurant
